WallRat photo is the site of Avery Cook and Ashley Losey. Originally put up to share our photos with who ever would care to look. We are both relatively new to photography as a hobby, just having moved up from point and shoot cameras about a year ago. Not to say that we were not taking pictures before, and that some of those earlier photos turned out quite well. We both enjoy taking photos while we travel and when at home. Avery is a biologist and Ashley and archeologist in their non-free time.
The Misadventures in Biology blog was created when Avery went to work as a fisheries observer, but died out after he left shore. It is there to share what I do as a biologist at work and as a person when traveling. I am going to make an effort to update it during my December through January trip to the Philippines.
Nigel, Avery’s brother was thinking about writing about his time in Iraq, but due to time, internet and security constraints it turns out not to be feasible.
